How to Study Properly
Most HSC students waste hours on revision that doesn't work. They re-read notes they already know, split past papers across a week, and skip the marking stage entirely. The result is minimal improvement.
The Traditional "Grind"
Most students I see start off with a workflow that looks like this:
Spend hours revising study notes for the entire year.
Attempt a past paper (often split across multiple days).
Maybe mark it with ticks and crosses.
If they marked it, move straight to the next paper.
If they didn't mark it, move straight to the next paper anyway.
Wonder why they aren't improving.
This workflow is riddled with fatal flaws.
Passive Revision is a Time-Waster: Revising study notes takes forever. At best, you’re doing passive reading for content you forgot. At worst, you’re wasting time re-reading content you already know.

4. Automatic Marking & Intelligent Feedback
Here is where the magic happens. When you submit your quiz, it is marked automatically.
No ticks and crosses: You get detailed, per-question automatic feedback on your working. It doesn't just tell you that you got it wrong—it shows you why your approach went off the rails.
Upload your handwritten working: You can upload your handwritten solutions directly through the platform. Use your camera as a scanner if you’re working from your phone, scan a QR code to upload from your phone, or attach a PDF if you’re working from an iPad.
Re-upload if needed: If your first photo was blurry or incomplete, you can re-upload your work at any time. The system will automatically re-mark the question with the new file.
5. Calibrate the Difficulty (A First For HSC Prep)
Fixed past papers trap you at one difficulty level. OptiEdu doesn't.

6. "Practice Mode" for the Re-attempt Stage
